Obituary of Frances Turner
Frances Louise Turner, 82, of Iola, Kansas, died Sunday, January 4, 2015, at the Kansas Heart Hospital in Wichita.
Frances was born January 2, 1933, at Yates Center, Kansas, the daughter of James and Fern (Maston) Beckley. She grew up in the Owl Creek community in Woodson County.
On October 3, 1959, Frances married Floyd C. Turner in Iola, and they made their home southeast of Iola most of their married lives. Floyd preceded her in death January 25, 1991.
Frances loved to cook, bake bread, read cookbooks and help others.

Her 4 Children: Charles Turner, Carl Turner and Christine Muntzert & her husband David all of Iola, and Carla Boman of Chanute
1 Brother: James Beckley, Jr. of Wichita
1 Half-Brother: Fred Braun of California
3 Grandchildren: Cara Roach & husband Chad, Alexandra Mitchell & husband Anthony, and Dalton Muntzert all of Iola
1 Great Grandson: Ryker James Roach
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband and her brother Norman Beckley.
Cremation has taken place.
MEMORIAL SERVICE: The family will host memorial services 1:00 p.m., Sat., Jan. 17, 2015 (*Please note the date) at the Iola Townhouse Community Room.
INURNMENT: Highland Cemetery, Iola, Kansas
MEMORIAL: Allen County Animal Rescue Facility (ACARF)
