Obituary of Marjorie Wade
Marjorie P. Wade, 91, of Iola, Kansas, passed away Tuesday, April 23, 2013, at Labette Health Care in Parsons.
Marjorie was born October 19, 1921, in Iola, the daughter of Harley and Naomi Magdalene (Keele) Prentice. She grew up in Iola where she has made her home most of her life.
She married Marvin Conner and they had one daughter before they divorced. Marjorie and Howard Loudabarger were married and had three children and later divorced. On January 24, 1973, she and A. Marion Wade were married in Iola and he preceded her in death October 31, 2008.
Marjorie worked as a unit clerk at the Allen County Hospital for many years before retiring. She enjoyed traveling, gardening and painting. She was a member of the First Baptist Church in Iola.

6 Step-Children: James Wade & wife, Donna of Holden, MO, Kenneth Wade of Chanute, Terry Wade & wife, Nellie of Lawrence, Loretta Fretz of Delhart, TX, Patricia Riebel & husband, Dale of Humboldt, and Cindy Brooks of St. Paul, MN
1 Brother: Jim Prentice of Lawrence, KS
11 Grandchildren, 19 Great Grandchildren, 14 Step-Grandchildren and 20 Step-Great Grandchildren
She was preceded in death by two brothers, Don Prentice and Gary Dalton
FUNERAL SERVICE: 2:00 p.m., Saturday, April 27, 2013, at First Baptist Church in Iola.
BURIAL: Highland Cemetery, Iola, KS
MEMORIAL CHOICES: First Baptist Church or Allen County Animal Rescue Facility (ACARF)
