Obituary of Kyle Swope
Kyle Christopher Swope, 23, of Iola, Kansas, died Sunday, August 24, 2014, at Allen County Regional Hospital in Iola, Kansas. He was born August 19, 1991, in Chanute, Kansas, the son of Kevin Conrad and Janna Lee ( Johnson ) Swope.
He graduated from Iola High School in 2010. Kyle worked as a yardman for S.E.K. Stockyards in Gas along with working for Steele Hay & Custom Baler Service in Sunray, Texas.
Kyle enjoyed karaoke, four wheeling, spending Sundays with friends, and just making people laugh. He was a member of the First Christian Church in Yates Center.

Parents: Mother, Janna Wilson of Iola, and his Father, Kevin Swope, of Chanute.
2 sisters: Hailey Swope of Rosedale, Mississippi, and Morgan Wilson of Iola.
Grandparents: maternal grandmother, Pat Boyer of Iola, maternal grandfather, Hank Johnson and wife Joni of Winfield, and paternal grandmother, LeAnna Swope of Yates Center.
He was preceded in death by a stepfather, Richard Wilson, a grandfather, Conrad Swope, and a stepgrandfather, Don Boyer.
VISITATION: 5:30-7:30, Wednesday, August 27th, 2014, at Waugh-Yokum & Friskel Chapel in Iola.
FUNERAL SERVICE: 10:30 a.m., Thursday, August 28th, at First Christian Church in Iola. Appropriate attire, jeans and boots.
BURIAL: Highland Cemetery in Iola, Kansas
