Obituary of Don Sigg
Donald Eugene Sigg, 76, of Iola, Kansas, died Monday, January 31, 2011, at Eureka Nursing Center in Eureka, Kansas.
Don was born October 24, 1934, on a farm northwest of Iola, Kansas, the son of Victor H. and Nellie M. (Allen) Sigg. He was the oldest of 14 children.
Don graduated from Iola High School in 1953 and on May 30, 1955, he married Patsy Weeks. After Don served in the United States Army, they returned to Iola to make their home. They were later divorced.
Over the years he worked for the Ice Plant, Thompson Poultry, Armco Steel, Tucker Construction and S. & M. Construction before retiring.
In 1992, Don married Sharon Kincheloe and they operated the LadyBug Greenhouse. He enjoyed raising dalmatians as a hobby. Don had many friends and enjoyed visiting with them.
He was a member of the V.F.W. and St. John's Catholic Church in Iola.

3 Sisters: Elsie Galemore & husband, John and Pat Griffith all of Chanute, KS, and Helen MacNabb of Raleigh, NC

He was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers, Paul Allen Sigg and David Sigg and a sister, Mary Fudge
VISITATION: 6:00-8:00 p.m., Friday, Feb. 4, 2011, at St. John's Parish Center in Iola, KS.
ROSARY & MASS: The parish rosary will be recited at 10:00 a.m., Saturday, Feb. 5, 2011, at St. John's Catholic Church in Iola, followed by the celebration of the mass at 10:30 a.m. The Reverend Robert B. Wachter will be celebrant.
BURIAL: St. John's Catholic Cemetery at Gas, Kansas
