Lorraine and girls, I just found out today, 1 July 2009 of Scotts passing. I was so shocked. Please know that my thoughts and prayers are with you and the family. Scott and I were stationed together at 367TRSS and bowled together and worked together for years daily. He was an awesome dad who loved and talked about his family every day, you were all three adored by him and he shared that with us all. God Bless you and please know I'm thinking of you in your time of sorrow. He was a good friend, I will miss him terribly. Joan Young

Lorraine and daughters, Scott was a wonderful man and I know his world revolved around the three of you. Many times Scott would come and watch his and my favorite football team, the KC Chiefs. They were not always successful, but he loved them just the same. Scott was a great benefit to the US Air Force and he made many friends while in our unit. He was a hard worker and always put the mission ahead of his personal life, as I'm sure you would agree. I remember talking to him about going TDY while you were waiting for your first daughter to be born. I tried to talk him into staying home and sending someone else in his stead, he wouldn't hear of it (and I don't know who I could have asked to go instead of Scott -- I think he knew that and insisted everything would be okay. Know that he is missed by many.

With a heavy heart writing this, my sympathies go out to the Family. Bill, when I spoke with you the other day in Iola and the topic of Scott came up; I could see the pride gleaming in your eyes while you spoke about him and what he had achieved in life. My memories of Scott were brought back as you spoke of him and remembering him again was very enjoyable. He was a great guy and was a good friend to me in High School as he was too many. Your family is in my thoughts and prayers. As I read all of the Guest Book Entries, I just would like to say that I am honored that I had the opportunity to know Scott during my life. Randy Call

To all the family: We are very sorry for your loss. Our prayers and thoughts are with all of you during this time of sorrow. Scott was very helpful to me(Mary) when I worked with him through Crossroads He was such a pleasant and mannerly young man. (Of course he had tremendous patience to teach those of us that were computer challenged.) We hope you find comfort in your memories of Scott and comfort in knowing your friends share your loss. I know from my own personal loss of a child the burden is heavy, but I also know you will survive this awful time with prayer. Scott will always be in your heart and memories. Our deepest sympathy.
