Julia (Stout) Shores, 83, of Iola, Kansas, died Friday, December 12, 2014, at Windsor Place in Iola. Julia was born June 15, 1931, at rural Erie, Kansas, the daughter of John and Martha (Smith) Elliott. She married Orville Stout Feb. 16, 1960 and he preceded her in death Dec. 31, 1994. Julia and Keith Shores were married April 2, 2014. Julia retired from Haldex in Iola. She was a member of Community Baptist Church in Iola. She enjoyed fishing and gardening.
