My name is Travis, Bob is my Grandpa. I was unable to come today because my wife, Nikki, and I are expecting our first child. When I think of Grandpa the first thought that comes to mind is whenever I would talk to him over the phone. Grandpa was always short in conversation over the phone. The first thing that he would always ask is "When are you coming home?" I would tell him and then after some other talk, usually about the weather or who was coming over that day, he would end with "Well I'll see you when you get home" and then "I love you". This would usually be all that was said, but you know, it was actually all that needed to be said. For a grandson, just hearing your Grandpa say, "I love you" and that he can't wait to see you is all that I ever needed to hear from Grandpa's voice. Now that Grandpa is not suffering anymore I know that he is in Heaven, in God's Glorious Light, and he is saying the same thing, "I Love You and I can't wait to see you". "For my Father's will is that everyone who looks to the Son and believes in Him shall have eternal life, and I will raise him up at the last day." - John 6:40
