Obituary of Marilyn Prock
Marilyn E. Prock, 61, of Iola, Kansas, died Saturday, January 24, 2015, at the University of Kansas Medical Center.
Marilyn was born March 13, 1953, in Iola, the daughter of Lewis Rivers and Betty Arleene (Estep) Howland. The Howland family lived in several states following the aircraft industry before returning to Iola.
On September 15, 1970, Marilyn married James Prock in Amarillo, TX. They have made their home in LaHarpe, Moran, and Las Vegas before settling in Iola. She has worked at L & M Truck Stop, Midland Brake and for the past 17 years at Russell Stover's Candies in Iola.
She was an amazing Grandma who doted on her grandchildren.

3 Children: Tiffany Prock of Iola, Jason Prock & Sara Nicole of LaHarpe, and Krystal Doolittle & husband, Scotty of Neosho Falls, KS
2 Sisters: Evelyn Boyers and Mary Ann Howland both of Iola
5 Grandchildren: Serandin & Annalysia Prock, Alora, Jayce & Holly Doolittle
She was preceded in death by her parents, Lewis & Betty Howland, and one grandchild.
VISITATION: 2:00-4:00p.m. Thursday, Jan. 29, 2015, at Waugh-Yokum & Friskel Chapel in Iola
SERVICE: 7:00 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 29, 2015, at the Waugh-Yokum & Friskel Chapel in Iola
Inurnment will be in Highland Cemetery in Iola, at a later date.
