Obituary of Harley Norman
Harley Gene Norman, 77, of Iola, Kansas, passed away Tuesday, February 26, 2013, at the Allen County Hospital.
He was born January 12, 1936, at Moran, Kansas, the son of Charley and Lovicia (Green) Norman. He grew up in Moran and graduated from Moran High School in 1955.
On September 1, 1956, Harley Gene married Faun A. Runer and they made their home in Augusta. He worked as a machinist and plumber at Cessna Aircraft in Wichita for over 30 years. He also served in the Kansas Army National Guard for 10 years. Mrs. Norman preceded him in death February 12, 1995.
On May 11, 1996, he married Twyla Flynn and they made their home in Gas.
He was a member of the First Assembly of God in Iola, Moran American Legion, 40 et 8 in Iola and the International Machinists Association. He loved his family, enjoyed fishing and was a big KU Jayhawk fan.

He was preceded in death by 5 brothers, Lester, Ivan, Clarence, Edwin and Roy Norman and 6 siblings who died in infancy including his twin brother, Charley Dean.
VISITATION: 9:00-10:00 a.m. Saturday, March 2, 2013, at the First Assembly of God in Iola prior to the service.
FUNERAL SERVICE: 10:00 a.m., Saturday, March 2, 2013, at the First Assembly of God in Iola.
BURIAL: Moran Cemetery, Moran, KS
MEMORIAL: First Assembly of God Youth Association
