Obituary of Patricia Patterson
Patricia "Patty" Patterson, 48, of rural Iola, Kansas, died Monday, November 28, 2011, at the Allen County Hospital in Iola.
Patty was born January 14, 1963, at Corpus Christi, Texas, the daughter of Steve and Adelina (Perez) Holloway. She grew up at Gas, Kansas and graduated from Iola High School in 1981.
On March 18, 1988, Patty married Ben Patterson in Miami, Oklahoma. They made their home in Iola where she operated her daycare, "Eagle's Nest". In 2000 they moved to their home in the country where she had her daycare, "Rowdy Ranch". She had also worked at Walmart in recent years.
Her memberships include Fellowship Regional Church and Grace Lutheran Church in Iola. She helped with South Street Dance Company recitals for many years. Patty enjoyed housepainting, crocheting, cross-stitch and gardening. She has been a volunteer for Friends for Life, Relay for Life and Spirit of Pink breast cancer awareness.

VISITATION: 6:00-8:00 p.m., Friday, December 2, 2011, at the First Christian Church in Iola.
FUNERAL SERVICE: 1:30 p.m., Saturday, December 3, 2011, at the First Christian Church in Iola. Pastor Jeff Cokely will officiate.
BURIAL: Highland Cemetery, Iola, Kansas
