Mary Patricia "Pat" Marvin, 76, of Iola, Kansas, died Friday, February 13, 2015, at Neosho Memorial Regional Medical Center in Chanute. Pat was born December 30, 1938, in Watford Herts, England, the daughter of John and Margaret Hyland. She grew up in England and met Edward Marvin while he was in the service. Following his honorable discharge from the service, he returned to Iola. She came later and the two were married on June 23, 1957. They made their home in Nevada, MO for the first year of their marriage before returning to Iola. She was a daycare provider for 50 years. Pat was a member of the First Baptist Church in Iola.
