Obituary of Robert Lind
Robert Doyle "Bob" Lind, 81, of Iola, Kansas, died Thursday, November 27, 2014, at the Moran Manor in Moran, Kansas.
Bob was born December 6, 1932, in Ft. Scott, Kansas, the son of Robert Donald and Gladys B. {Ford} Lind. He graduated from Moran Rural High School in 1951. On September 26, 1952, Bob married Lenora Cooper. After he served with the U.S. Army during the Korean War they made their home in Iola.
He owned and operated a milk route for the Pet Milk Company before becoming general manager of Humboldt Brick and Tile. He then worked for the Monarch Cement Company before retiring. During his retirement years he drove a school bus.
He was an active member of the Iola Jaycees in his younger years. He belonged to the Iola American Legion and the Trinity United Methodist Church.

He was preceded in death by his parents, a brother, Raymond, and a sister, Rowena Copeland.
FUNERAL SERVICE: 1:30 p.m. Tuesday, December 2, 2014, at the Waugh-Yokum & Friskel Memorial Chapel.
BURIAL: Fairview Cemetery, Mildred, Kansas
