Our prayers are with you all. We will dearly miss Danny and all the hilarious discussions we had with him.
Most memorable moment was when we had dinner at Donna's and Danny was sitting at one end of the table and Grandma Bishop was sitting at the other end. Grandma was telling a story, while Danny was inconspicuously pulling her plate away from her with the table cloth. It took Grandma a while to realize why her plate kept getting farther and farther away from her - we laughed until we cryed. To this day we still talk about that dinner.

Dan,
We know heaven has welcomed you. You were our brother-in-law for 15 years. Our family has lots of memories of our times together. Your funny short stories as well as the jokes you always told. Paul also has many memories while you both were working at Williams Gas Co. We enjoyed visiting with Dan at the Williams retiree Christmas dinner this past December. This time will never be forgotten. We want to express our deepest sympathy to your family and to our nephew, your son Dennis.

I have some great memories of Uncle Dan from my childhood. His smile could light up a room. I don't think I ever saw him without that grin on his face and that twinkle in his eye. Dennis, I was so sorry to hear the news about your dad. Our thoughts and prayers are with you and Dan's entire family. May you find peace and comfort after this loss.

Hey Dan. Sorry to read of your passing. I had been thinking of getting down to Garnett to see you. Strange how things work out when you keep putting things off. I hope you're in a better place now and don't have to ache and pain as what goes with old age. I have a lot of good memories of us all when we were in school. Hope you will remember them. May God watch over you.
Your friend, Bugs

Dan always had a funny story or joke and he was grinning big when he told it. He was a good friend and co-worker and a hoot as a golf partner. Family was always on the top of Dan's list. He will be greatly missed!

I was married to Dan for ten years 1979-1989 and although we divorced he has always meant a lot to me. We made our peace some years ago and became friends. We have a lovely daughter together of whom we are proud. Dan was there for her college graduation, he walked her down the aisle when she wed, and he was happy to be Grandpa to Trinity Li whom she called The Cowboy because of his big western hat. I will never forget him and I will see him again one day in God's house.

Dan was my cousin and I remember fondly visiting the Bishop farm and all those brothers. Donna, their sister always took up for me with them! Me, the city slicker, was always learning something new about the farm life...like the time I learned to hunt snipe with a flashlight with the brothers snickering. I will remember Dan as the cowboy who always had a grin and a joke for everyone, and for always looking out for my mom when the rest of us were far away. Thanks for the memories, Dan. You will be missed.
