Obituary of Lois A. Miller
Lois Ann Miller, age 62, of Garnett, Kansas, died on Tuesday, December 23, 2008, at Golden Heights Living Center in Garnett, Kansas.
Lois was born on January 1, 1946, in the Carter Building in Garnett, Kansas, the daughter of Matthew J. and Irene B. (Pickert) Feuerborn. She went to Holy Angels School, and graduated from Garnett High School in 1964.
She was married to Dale Finkenbinder in October of 1965; this union was blessed with one daughter, Reva. They were married for sixteen years. She worked at the Hotel Caf in the 1960's; Sears in the 1970's through the mid 1980's; and the Sherwood Inn from 1986 to 1991. In 1991 she opened Trade Winds, operating it until 1996, when she sold the business; she then owned and operated Fashion Daze from 1997 to 2002; at which time she began working at Trade Winds along with cleaning houses. She married Jerry Miller on August 1, 2003, at Miami, Oklahoma.
She was a member of the VFW Auxiliary; Eagles Auxiliary; Tops. She enjoyed her work, helping others, having fun, and visiting with friends. She especially enjoyed her grandkids.

She is survived by her husband, Jerry Miller, of the home; her daughter, Reva Pracht and husband John of Westphalia, Kansas; two grandsons, Storm Pracht and Ridge Pracht of Westphalia, Kansas; step children, Jody Troyer and husband Scot of Garnett, Kansas; Justin Miller and wife Monica of Garnett, Kansas; and Jordan Miller of Greeley, Kansas; seven step grandchildren; two brothers, Leon Feuerborn and wife Mary of Altamont, Kansas; Carl Feuerborn of Garnett, Kansas; three sisters, Rosalie Rommelfanger and husband Leonard of Garnett, Kansas; Dorothy Lickteig and husband Cecil of Garnett, Kansas; Donna Carr and husband J.D. of Garnett, Kansas; and many nieces and nephews, and host of relatives and friends.
Funeral mass will be held at 10:00 AM on Saturday, December 27, 2008 at the Holy Angels Catholic Church, with burial to follow at the Holy Angels Cemetery, Kansas. The family will be present to greet friends from 6:00 to 8:00 PM, Friday evening at the Feuerborn Family Funeral Service Chapel, Garnett, Kansas.
