Obituary of Sieglinde P. Kelly
Sieglinde P. Kelly, age 72, of Blue Mound, Kansas, died on December 8, 2009, at the Anderson County Hospital in Garnett, Kansas.
She was born on October 27, 1937, at Ulm, West Germany. She attended schools in West Germany.
Sieglinde was united in marriage to William J. Kelly II on November 20, 1978 in Garnett, Kansas.
She was a hard worker, and took in stray animals from raccoons, peacocks, to skunks. She had a love for all animals, especially her cows. She was a big mama bear and her husband and kids were her cubs. She was a very hard worker and had a green thumb, she could make anything grow. Sieglinde was a city girl turned country.
Sieglinde was a breast cancer survivor for five years. She was a member of the Ulm Minster Roman Catholic Church in Ulm, West Germany.
She was preceded in death by her parents; two brothers and two sisters.
Sieglinde is survived by her husband, William Kelly of the home; two daughters, Pamela Thomas of Overland Park, Kansas; and Sharon Thomas of St. Petersburg, Florida; her son Kenny Thomas and wife Jamie of Lane, Kansas; a brother, Gunther Walters of West Germany; and one sister, Hilga of West Germany.
Memorial services will be held at 10:00 a.m., Friday, December 11, 2009 at the Feuerborn Family Funeral Service Chapel, Garnett, Kansas. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society or to W.I.N.G.S.
