My condolences to the family of Phyllis. My mother, Joan Davidson, and Phyllis became very good friends before the passing of my mother in 2005. Phyllis was a good friend to me when I needed it the most. She was intelligent, community minded and very non-judgemental of anyone's circumstances. It was a blessing to know her and she will be missed.

Phyllis was a friend and mentor to me when we lived in Iola. She was always dignified but gracious, but I think one of her best qualities was her sense of humor. I loved the twinkle in her eye and I always enjoyed my visits with her. A very special lady to a lot of women of all ages in Iola. We will miss you, Phyllis!

I a student of education and life from Mrs. Hodgson. I'm responsible for more than one of her gray hairs. I had some unfinished business with her, I regret not finishing. I knew Henry and the girls very well. Life's answers are not always acceptable. Leo
