Dear Dan and Randy (and families),
I stopped taking the Garnett paper not to long ago, and just happen to go on line and found that your Daddy had past away....I was so sad!
My heart goes out to you all! I so loved your Daddy. He was just a sweet, sweet gentle soul. So mild mannered, soft spoken and kind to all us ornery kids!! I spent so much time at the Rink that it felt like we were family. I know the pain you're going thru, with both your parents gone, mine have been gone almost 7 years and I think of them every day and still want to pick up the phone and call them or ask for advice. Even more so with my son. I wish I'd know, I'd have been at the service! You're all in my thoughts and prayers! I pray for your peace of mind.
Love, Gwynn

Dan & Wanda, Randy & Rhonda, Desarea, Danielle, Tyler, and Ryan...you will treasure the memories of this last year when you were able to spend more time with your Dad and GrandDad. There will be difficult times when you will want to "just ask Dad a question". At that moment, you will have to remember the wisdom and values he has given you and lived by. Remember the great times we had roller skating, riding the bikes, 4-wheelers, marble games, laughter, and great times we shared. Dan lived a humble life, with simple needs. Dan would rather eat a cold meat sandwich and spend time riding with you kids than have a huge meal and just sitting around doing nothing. Dan would want you to continue enjoying these activities as a family! Betty, I am so very glad you were with Dan.....remember the day Dan passed out in you arms? He would have died that day ...if you had not have been there! Dan and you....both found comfort in each other after the loss of our dear Corky. May God give you comfort and peace. Love Kathy & Bill Suiter

I was saddened to hear of uncle Dans passing. Dan and Corky were two loving and generous people. They took us in, in our time of need. I can still hear Corky's energenic voice, "up and at 'em, Adam ant." And I can see Dan in my minds eye riding around the block on Steve Files honda on the streets of Beliot. They will truly be missed. Love Kirby&Nola
