Dorothy and I graduated in the 1950 class of Coffeyville High School. We had been friends during those years and had great fun fixing our hair, going to the Oasis, the Buckeye Barrel and giggling about everything and nothing. My husband, Richard, and I stopped in Iola for quick visits twice a year on our way home to Nowata from hardware shows in Kansas City and saw her daughters grow up. I send my sympathy to Dwight, her daughters, family members and friends. We were blessed by her presence in our lives.
