Obituary of Ada Hoffmeier
Ada M. Hoffmeier, 93, of Iola, Kansas, died Tuesday, February 17, 2009, at the Allen County Hospital in Iola.
Ada was born September 15, 1915, in Paola, Kansas, the daughter of George and Rachel (Feltenberger) McAninch. She moved to Colony with her family and graduated from high school there.
On July 9, 1934, Ada married Glen H. Hoffmeier and they made their home in Iola.
Ada worked for Kerr-McFall Garment Company and then for the J.C. Penney Company before retiring.
Her husband preceded her in death on September 14, 1982.
She enjoyed taking bus tours in her later years. Ada was a member of the First Presbyterian Church, Red Hat Society, Allen County Hospital Auxiliary, American Legion Auxiliary, Current Events Club and was a blood bank volunteer.

She was preceded in death by a brother, Wade Mosing.
FUNERAL SERVICE: 1:30 p.m., Friday, February 20, 2009, at the First Presbyterian Church in Iola. The Rev. Jim Rausch will officiate.
BURIAL: Colony Cemetery, Colony, Kansas
MEMORIAL CHOICES: First Presbyterian Church or Allen County Healthcare Foundation (Hospice)
