I had the privilege to be softball teammate and coworker with Shirley for many years. She always had a winning spirit, positive attitude, and ready smile. I was in awe of her enduring bravery and determination during her illness. Shirley was a very special woman and she will be missed by many. Sorry to hear of Shirley's passing. Remember when Andy and her would be at softball games before they were married. One thing I will always remember is she always had a smile on her face, even through the many hard times she had to endure. We all will miss her at Gates.
