Obituary of Myrna Faulhaber

Myrna Rose Faulhaber, 72, of Iola, Kansas, passed away Saturday, September 26, 2015, at the Allen County Regional Hospital. Myrna was born November 18, 1942, in Blue Mound, Kansas, the daughter of Russell and Beulah (Bowman) Krull. She grew up in the Blue Mound area. On December 24, 1959, Myrna married Gary F. Faulhaber in Harding, Kansas. They have made their home in Iola since then. Myrna worked as an office administrative assistant for U.S.D. 257, Allen County Community College and Drs. Hull, Walter & Stone in Iola. She was a member of St. John's Catholic Church in Iola, the church altar society and cancer support group. Myrna enjoyed quilting, watching the Kansas City Royals and KU Jayhawk basketball. SURVIVORS: Her husband of 55 years: Gary Faulhaber of the home 4 Children: Teresa Ligon of Iola, Kevin Faulhaber (Tammi Frazell) of Wichita, Bruce (Staci) Faulhaber of Iola, and Justin (Terri) Faulhaber of Harrisonville, MO 3 Siblings: Howard (Marsha) Krull of Coon Rapids, Minnesota, Larry (Joyce) Krull of Lawrence, KS and Thelma Orton of Humboldt, KS 12 Grandchildren and 8 Great Grandchildren She was preceded in death by her parents, brother-in-law Dale Orton, great grandson Brayden Yocham and niece Kammy Brammeier. ROSARY: 6:00 p.m., Tuesday, Sept. 29, 2015, at St. John's Catholic Church in Iola. VISITATION: Following the rosary at St. John's Parish Hall MASS: 10:30 a.m., Wednesday, Sept. 30, 2015, at St. John's Catholic Church in Iola.
