Martha,Angie and family, our
Our lives were so touched by all of you. Your were much more to us than next door neighbors. Summer always brings memories of Earl playing catch with the boys, mowing the yard and the sizzle of hamburgers on the grill. The hardest thing about leaving Garnett was leaving you all. Even though we didn't see you as often as we'd have liked to, you have always been and will always be in our hearts. Larry,Chad, Heath, Brett and I are better for knowing you. Love to all, Deb

Bun,Angie,Christina,Edna,Thelma,Bill and families, Earl was such a great guy. He never once made me feel like an idiot when I would carry something in that I really wasn't sure what it was a part for and say I need one of these?? He would just smile and try to figure out whatever it was that Frank was working on and what I might need. You two taught Garnett what it meant to be friendly neighborhood business people. God bless you all. Now Leroy, Ed and Earl are living the good life.

My heart and prayers go out to you right now and in the days to come. Earl is leaving a legacy of love and dedication to you, his family, that will go on and on. His positive attitude was an inspiration to me as I visited with him and you, Martha, a couple of weeks ago. His upbeat response to his illness must have touched everyone who knew him. I'm sure he and Karl are up there checking out some prize black cattle at this very moment. God bless and keep you now and always.
Love, Kathryn

Sometimes it was just nice to stop by and wander around the store to see what new item you may have had. Both of you always had a friendly word and hello. Thanks for the memories.

I was honored to work for Earl and Martha at the grocery store in little Wellington, MO, my hometown. I enjoyed my friendship with the Miller's and shared in their agony the night the store was totally consumed by fire. It took something out of all of us, but God promised that he would work all things together for good and this was no exception. Lifetime freindships were formed and those are more precious than any business or building. I am a better man for having know Earl and Martha. Lifting you all in prayer.

I just wanted to let you know that I've been thinking of you since Earl's passing. I have lots of fond memories of going to the hardware store over the years and could see that he had been struggling with his health this past year or so. Nevertheless, it was good to see him in the store. I hope your sense of loss may turn into happy memories as you and the younger ones go through life attending ballgames and doing other things that he enjoyed with you.
