Obituary of Caryl Flores
Caryl Beth Flores, 77, of Iola, Kansas, died Thursday, August 9, 2012, at her home.
Caryl Beth was born May 9, 1935, at Neosho Falls, Kansas, the daughter of Glenn O. and Helen E. (O'Dell) Saferite. She grew up at Neosho Falls where she graduated from high school.
On September 18, 1952, Caryl Beth married Willis Parrish at Eureka Springs, Arkansas. They had three children and later divorced.
She made her home in Iola where she worked as an inspector for the State of Kansas at Thompson Poultry for eight years and retired from Gates Rubber Company after working there eight years.
On June 23, 1984, Caryl Beth married Florentino "Tino" Flores in Miami, Oklahoma. He preceded her in death on December 26, 2010.
She enjoyed jewelry, traveling and spending time with family. Her memberships include the First Baptist Church in Iola, Red Hat Society and Carlyle Country Club.

2 Sisters: Connie Jo Hardesty of Topeka, KS and Karen Gleue & husband, Doug of LeRoy, KS
9 Grandchildren: Emily & Tyler, Sarah & Rachel, Briana & Jessica, and Alex, Sara & Anna
5 Great Grandchildren: Jenna, Reese, Kashyn, Bristol & Anthony

She was preceded in death by her parents, Glenn & Helen Saferite, and her son, Willis Daniel "Danny" Parrish.
VISITATION: 6:00-8:00 p.m., Sunday, Aug. 12, 2012, at Waugh-Yokum & Friskel Chapel in Iola.
FUNERAL SERVICE: 1:00 p.m., Monday, Aug. 13, 2012, at First Baptist Church in Iola.
BURIAL: Logue Cemetery east of LeRoy, Kansas
MEMORIAL CHOICES: Allen County Hospice or First Baptist Church
