Richard Ellis was a great man. I am a loan officer and I have gotten to know him the last few years. He always jokingly said I was his financial advisor. I didn't look at Richard as a customer I looked at him like a friend. He would call me and tell me a joke and I would call him if I was having a bad day he would make me smile. I know he was looking forward to putting on a lunch for the Veterans on Veterans Day and he wanted me to be there so bad. I was going to take what we call a angle day so I could surprise him and help him set it all up but God called him up way to soon. He always talked about his kids and how proud he was of them, I bet he was a great father. I'll always remember his laugh and the jokes he shared.
