I see it's been going on ten years now since he passed, but I still wanted to offer my condolences somehow. I never knew yall's side of the family, but it seems that Ed was my great-uncle. He looks like my own grandfather, they have the same cheekbones, same hairline, same square chin, their crooked smiles both lift up from the nose like that. The dissonance between how familiar the person in this photo is and yet simultaneously completely alien, it's astounding. I wonder how similar all the other siblings looked when they grew up, what it would've been like to see them all standing up together.
I hope you all got to have a nice life with him while he was around. I'm sorry for your loss. Hope you've gotten to and still get to grieve how you need.
