Obituary of Carl Cole
Carl Lee Cole, 56, of Iola, Kansas, formerly of LaHarpe, died Saturday, September 7, 2013, at his home.
Carl was born October 11, 1956, in LaHarpe, Kansas, the son of Clarence Lee and LaVina (Quathamer) Cole. He was raised in LaHarpe. He served 20 years with the Kansas National Guard.
On August 13, 1976, Carl married Patricia George. He was a member of Local Union #441 in Wichita and worked as a welder and supervisor for plant construction.
His greatest love was his wife, grandkids, fishing, hunting and love of nature.

2 Brothers-in-law: Leon George & wife, Jeanie and Larry George all of Savonburg

He was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers, Shawn and Joe Cole.
FUNERAL SERVICE: 10:30 a.m., Thursday, Sept. 12, 2013, at the Waugh-Yokum & Friskel Chapel in Iola, where visitation will be prior to the service.
BURIAL: Mt. Moriah Cemetery south of Savonburg, Kansas
MEMORIAL: The Carl Cole Memorial Fund
