So sorry to hear about Lorraine passing. I remember years ago spending hours in his kitchen cooking Thanksgiving dinner and she stayed in there with me talking the entire time. He was so nice. Such a character. I know his passing must be a great loss to the family. My thoughts and prayers are with you. Always.

To the family of Cleave, "Hearts Speak when Words Cannot" I'm sad beyond words and prayers go out to the whole family and friends in the days ahead. Cleave had touched our hearts and family in so many ways. When the kids were small Cleave and Marty were a big part of their growing up and we so looked forward to when he would return to Idaho. He was my Partner as he would say and a friend to all who didn't cross him:) He sure took pride in helping out the needy around. I'll never forget the time Mayietta shot the suburban through the floor. Cleave was fit to be tied...oh you had a wonderful Dad and Thank you for sharing him with us. Bless your family at this time. Beth Dalgliesh

To my dear Henrietta and the family. I am so sorry of your loss. You were like my sister and brother. The bear rug on the floor of Minnie's bed room --I was always so proud of it--yet afraid---LOL. His dog "drum"--then there was "laddie". Oh, the wonderful memories. The big brick house was always like "home" to me. When I get to KS each year I have to drive by it. Usually go to the restaurant in Iola for breakfast at least one day --just to see Loraine. So often I think of all of you--Minnie, Nannie, Jack Tacket (even the mean rooster). I love you all so much.Mary Compton Shields

I will never forget seeing that BIG white suburban turn off the highway when I was a kid & know that Cleave was headed our way to tell us about the big hunt. Another fond memory was the famous frog-frys!I still refuse to believe that it taste like "chicken"! May your boldness of living life to the fullest be an example to others. You will be missed & my prayers are with all the family. Love Sara
