William Lyman "Billy" Chapman, Jr., 38, of LaHarpe, Kansas, died Saturday, Feb. 7, 2015, at the Allen County Regional Hospital. Billy was born June 11, 1976, in Iola, the son of William L. "Bill" and Carol Jean (Lee) Chapman. He attended high school in Iola and graduated from Humboldt High School in 1995. On April 21, 2006, Billy married Mary A. McCully in Miami, Oklahoma. They made their home in Iola a few years before moving to LaHarpe. He worked as a welder for Precision International in Iola.
