Jean was a very sweet woman. Loved her smile, and loved watching when she whistled a beautiful whistle to the birds. She loved reading to the pre-school children last year. She will be truly missed.

Jean was an exceptional woman. Devoted to bringing smiles to everyone in her path. How beautiful and soothing her music was to the soul. Anyone who would enter our home, knew of Jean's angelic whistle. And to watch her as she watched a comedy or "America's funniest video", was enough to enlighten the whole room. What distinct, powerful, contagious laughter! She is now at peace, and has been able to reunite with her mama. Maybe she doesn't have to milk those cows, but now has a different job... I'm sure she was quickly "assigned" to be someone's guardian angel, to guide and protect. She has touched my soul, as well as many others. She will hold a special place in my heart.

When Jean was in the hospital, you could tell the birds really missed her. I miss her whistling, smiles, jokes. I was here the first day she came, and have been with her ever since.

Dear Rick, Sharon and Family: I am very sorry to hear about your mom. Our family always enjoyed the time we spent with yours whether it was in Welda, Lone Elm, or Colony. I can imagine that your mom, my dad, and your grandmother are having one great visit in heaven. May God be with you in your sorrow. Kenny Church

To Jean's daughter, son & Grandchildren: I am deeply saddened to hear of your mother's passing. She loved you so dearly. What a blessing it is to have known her as my friend. She was such a prominent part of social activities at Windsor. Everyone she met was touched by her loving compassion. I shall miss her, yet am so happy that her strongest wish has come true. She has gone to see her mother. My thoughts & prayers are with you. Linda Strawder

We love u grandma. We will miss u a ton! The best thing that i remember about grandma would be the need for speed! She was always in a hurry. The one I remember the most was my 8th grade banquet and the headlights would not come on. She drove from Westphalia to home going 60 plus and kept saying "got to get home before it gets dark". We made it with no time to spare. The best of the whole story is when she parked the car and pulled the light switch, then lights came on.

Grandma we will love and miss you very much. You are in a better place now. I know you and Grandma Faith are watching over Austin and making sure he is not alone. Thank you for all of the wonderful memories. You taught me a lot about life and how to be responsible. I will never forget that. Please watch over us and some day we will see you ourselves. Love You, Diane
