Obituary of James Butler
James E. "Jim" Butler, 50, of Iola, Kansas died Saturday, November 8, 2014, at his home.
Jim was born June 23, 1964, in Chanute, Kansas, the son of Robert E. and Lorene M. ( Morris ) Butler. He graduated from Iola High School. Jim worked for Rolco Manufacturing, Young's Welding, Johnny Womack, and then 2R Tool & Machine Shop before ill health forced his retirement. He was married to Wendy Hurlock on March 20, 1987, and she preceded him in death on November 8, 2008.

Jim was preceded in death by his father.
Cremation has taken place.
CELEBRATION OF LIFE SERVICE: 1:30 p.m., Saturday, Nov. 15, 2014, at the Iola Senior Center, 204 N. Jefferson, Iola.
