Freddie J. Burton, 72, of Iola, Kansas, died Sunday, February 2, 2014, at Allen County Regional Hospital. Freddie was born September 7, 1941, in Kincaid, Kansas, the son of Robert McHenry and Rose Evelyn (Holeman) Burton. Survivors include 5 siblings, Jack Burton of Olathe, Bill Burton of Ft. Scott, Ed Burton of Milwaukee, WI, Charles Burton of Iola, and Betty Smart of Nowata, OK. He was preceded in death by his parents, a sister Rose and brothers Bob and Jim Burton.
