Obituary of Cherie Burch
Cherie Evelina Burch, 46, of Iola, Kansas, passed away Friday, May 27, 2011, at her home.
Cherie was born July 10, 1964, in Portland, Oregon. She was the daughter of Charles E. and Evelina L. (Walls) Burch. She grew up in Vancouver, Washington, where she graduated from Columbia River High School. In high school, she was active in band and debate. She played the organ and flute and enjoyed painting.
Cherie has made her home in the Vancouver area most of her life. She moved to Iola from Oregon a little over a year ago to care for her mother.
She was a member of Ward Chapel A.M.E. Church in Iola.

4 Children: Charles Burch of Boise, Idaho, Montel Speller of Baltimore, Maryland, Ariella McCowan of Washington State, and Ciarra Miller of Wichita, Kansas
She was preceded in death by her father and a son, Tyree Burch.
FUNERAL SERVICE: 12:00 Noon, Saturday, June 4, 2011, at Ward Chapel A.M.E. Church in Iola. The Rev. Barbara Miniefee will officiate.
BURIAL: Highland Cemetery, Iola, Kansas
