Daddy, you were a special hero in my life. I always wanted to be just like you, and I'm glad I did because I joined the Navy and will always remember all that I got to experience. I cry now, but I know that you are looking on the countenance of the Lord, and outside of your mansion is a beautiful lake where you can fish and know that all of your children and the families they love will be with you again. That must be a great blessing to know that we're most all in the Book of Life and our eyes will dry and our pain will be gone when we see you next time. Love, Debbie

Grandpa,
I enjoyed all the visits we had with you growing up and all of the stories you told me and my brother. It was nice to have such a caring grandpa like you. I will always remember how you told me how proud you were of me and all of my accomplishments. I also enjoyed all of the homemade bread you made for us - no one can make it as good as you! :)

I can't say enough how wonderful it is to know that by the example of the love and faith of his family and by God's amazing unending love that Louie came to know Jesus Christ as his savior. It is in that knwledge that I can celebrate his life and although he will be missed for years many of us will see him again free from sin and pain in the presence of our risen Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. I am so sorry to hear Louie died, I use to hear all kinds of stories from Auntie Leoti...yes i am his cousin, or second cousin I guess? I went to his father's funeral years ago, I never did get to know young Louie, since I moved to California when i was rather young. Louie will always have a very special place in my heart. We had a lot of fun visiting together and teasing each other. I remember the day that I brought "Dinky" to you and Louie, he really loved that dog. I sure miss the bread he made for me, especially the potatoe bread. He loved doing that and we loved eating it. He loved you so much, I could see it in his eyes. He would be so proud to see you taking up where he left off.Now "Binky" has taken over the head of the household!Ha!Ha! Been thinking alot about you as of late Grandpa. I went down and spent some of the day with Grandma along with Mom & Dad today. We had a good time visiting and seeing each other. Grandma took Dad and I out to the grave site, the stone Grandma got is beautiful! I love you so much Grandpa and miss you so much. Just wait for us all to join you someday!
