Bob, you will forever remain in my heart as a wonderful man and VERY patient step-father. I sure gave you a run for your money when I was a teenager....LOL! But thanks to you; I can budget a checkbook and invest wisely. I'll cherish our last chat just a few short weeks ago. My dear Uncle Robert is at rest; to be in the Glory of God- thank you for the memories, ornery, man! My prayers of comfort are offered for all that will miss him. My beautiful aunts and their husbands, my sibs, my wonderful cousins and his step children. He sure was grateful for his family, and truly cared about all of us; he kept me posted on prayer requests and the like :) I don't know if all knew that Uncle Robert was a hero. He saved my life, or at the least, from horrible injury. When he was staying with my folks, he saved me from being hit by a car. Scooped me up in the nick of time. I was too young to remember, but I liked to listen to him tell the story. I am going to sorely miss listening to his stories; I will miss him. May the promises of Our Savior bring comfort to all the family. Love to you all~ Sherry

I have so many fond memories of Uncle Robert, whether it be some of his crazy stories from his younger days or more recently, some of his garage parties we attended in Garnett. His laugh was infectious and his heart and home always welcomed you. He will be dearly missed.
