HI Kay, Seems like not to long ago, which now has been 35 years +, that your Dad came to my house in K.C. to see if he could rent a room. We worked out a deal which for one thing I was not going to cook for him because there was just Mickey & I and we did our own things. Well, needless to say, when there is a man in the house, it seems it is only right that we cook for them. I cannot really remember how long he lived there but it was until after he started driving the "over the road" truck. I do know he was there during the summer because he helped mow the yard some. One Thanksgiving night we were sitting around both waiting for the other to go out and ended up just sitting and visiting the whole evening. Learned more about each other than we had either one known before and is probably a good thing that I can't remember all of it now. He was a dandy and lots of fun.
