Dear Mary and family, I was saddened to hear of Sheldon's accident and passing. He was a wonderful man. He was also very caring in his line of work. He took such good care of Gene when he was on Home Health. I know he will be greatly missed. Just remember that God never gives us more than we can handle and He does not promise that we will never have pain and suffering, but He does promise that He will be with us when we do. Keep Him close and He will carry you through the next several days, months and years.
May God Bless all of you.

Mary, Brian, Laurie, and family,
I was so saddened to hear about Sheldon. He was a wonderful man. I'll never forget when I started to nursing school I was scared to death and thought I couldn't do it-I thought I was too old and there was Sheldon offering words of encourgement telling me if he wasn't too old than neither was I. By the time I finally believed him the year was over and we'd both made it!
I am so very, very sorry for your loss. You are all in my thoughts and prayers. God Bless.

Sheldon will always be remembered. He was my CNA instructor at Neosho Community College!! He was always friendly and we enjoyed making him smile. One thing I will always remember is the way he looked at Mary. There was a love there and you could see it in their eyes. He also had a deep love for his grandbabies and we loved to hear his stories. He always had a smile and was ready to teach us. We were a close class, and even closer now! The last thing he said to me as I left the class from taking the final was, " NOW GO CHANGE THE NURSING WORLD" And I plan on doing just that! May God bless you and your family through this tough time. Remember; If God brought you to it, he will bring you through it! Thoughts and Prayers to all!!

Beloved brother, my heart aches that you are no longer here with us. I will miss that mischievous smile and twinkle in your eyes, the teasing and the laughs we had together. Mary & Family,
I am so very sorry for your loss. Sheldon was my CNA Instructor, I was wondering if I had made the right choice by going back to school, But when I met Sheldon, I knew it was. I told him I felt so old going back to school, He looked at me and gave me that look as he told me your never too old!! I remember his stories, Jessica & I making bed's at your facility and him cracking up because we were perfectionist to what he said. I will miss his smile, This is one Man that truly changed the world of Nursing for many of us. I am deeply saddened he is not here to see how his first CNA class did on our State Test, But we all know he was with us that day because he was all our New Guardian Angel. You will forever be missed Sheldon.

Mary, one of the best things that ever happened to our family was your marriage to Shelly. He has enriched all of our lives so much. We will always remember his smile, his wit and his kindness. But personally, I thank him for the great love and joy he brought to my baby sister! You were the love of each others lives and it was apparent to all of us in the look in your eyes. He will always be with you.

I didn't know Sheldon for a long time. But my CNA class was the first class that he ever taught. He was one of the best teachers that I have ever had. When we did clinicals in Garnett i had to be in the room while someone changed an ostomy bag. I had to run out of the room cause almost puked. I ran outside for a second and then came back in, Sheldon was sitting in a chair laughing so hard at me and telling me "I don't mean to laugh at you" it was a horrible experience but he made me laugh cause he was just hysterical, you could never forget that smile. I will miss him and im sad that no one else had the chance to be in his next classes to see what a great person he really was. I will meet you in heaven Sheldon, please watch over your CNA students as we venture into nursing or whatever it may be. You touched everyone of our hearts in one way or another. We will be there to say our last goodbyes.
