Dave. What a wonderful lady your mother was. You always esteemed her in such a special way. Know that you are in my thoughts. I still have such great memories of my years in Iola working with you and Steve. I am saddened to seeing of Betty's death. She was a good friend to my parents, Winona and Virgil Powell. and was quite helpful to us and especially to mom when my dad passed a few years ago. Yokum's were a pillar to many of us. Just a note of remembrance of days gone by.

To the family - your mom and dad were such a presence in my young life they were great friends of my mom, dad, sister and myself I have so many memories of all the good times we had vacationing in the Ozarks ,water-skiing and just being kids. Harold and Betty were always there for me such a comfort especially with the loss of my parents I remember both being @ the house the night my mom passed when I got home from school and again the day that my dad passed unexpectantly. They took care of them in death as they did in life with kindness and the utmost respect. I am so sorry to hear of Betty’s passing but am so glad she was able to live a long full life.
