Dad and I were very sorry to hear about Bob's passing. Dad considered Bob to be one of his best friends and he always looked forward to visiting every time we would come to Colony. As a matter of fact, we were lucky that we got to visit with him this Memorial Weekend. Our hearts go out to you all.

To Bob's Family, I was so sorry to hear the news about Bob. Most of you haven't seen for many years but I am Harold Swift's son, Roy. I remember so clearly when I was a young child about 11 or 12 years old going home on the school bus and spending time with him doing chores. Of course, I liked it because he had to do all of the work. It is very say to me that only two of the Fred and Jennie Swift family are still alive. I also remember the days where we had about 50 people at the farm for Thanksgiving and we would ride the pony Ranger. Those were the days. I know you have many memories that will keep Bob alive in your life. Although I will not be able to make from Washington DC, you are in my thoughts and prayers. Please look me up if you ever come to Washington. Roy and Susan Swift

Prayers to you all and the swift family... they have truely lost a very compassionate kind hearted man. Who never turned his nose up or treated anyone bad. Even in times of disagreements he stayed neutral and cared for so many as if they were all his kids and family.... hoping his legacy of being kind carries on through the generations he had left behind... make him proud you all...
