I would like to extend my condolences to the Thelma Herrill family. I taught Elizabeth Ann when she was in the eighth grade. I have not heard from her for a long time, but always held that bunch of kids close to my heart. I'm very sorry at the loss of her mother.

Aunt Thelma was so sweet! We only met and started writing letters a few years ago. She always included some little story out of the paper, a poem, etc. We visited at her home and she shared family pictures with me. It was so nice to connect after all these years!!! Family with the Herrill name. I will truly miss her!

Our deepest sympathy on the passing of your Mom. She was a wonderful neighbor. I remember when we first got married and moved out here on the farm. Thelma brought Elcie down to visit. You will have so many memories to cherish. It's hard to loose your parent. We never forget them and their love for us.

Mrs. Herrill loved deeply and was deeply loved, and the mark of her faith is evident in those influenced by her life. I know she will be missed, but that separation is temporary - as our faith becomes sight and the hope in our hearts unfolds into eternity with Christ. May the confidence of her with Him now, and the blessed assurance of our reunion be a comfort to you loved by her and who loved her.

What a lovely aunt Thelma was. I so enjoyed her and Hap's company (and the kids) when we came to visit. Always nice, always sweet. She was from the "old generation" but certainly kept up with the new generations. Very smart and skilled at making cakes. I just loved the little flowers and roses on the cakes so when we were visiting on vacation from Texas, she make me a little sheet of just frosting flowers to eat. I haven't been in touch with any family for decades but 3 weeks ago, I kept coming across photos of their home out on the farm when we would make ice cream out on the porch. I also came across a old card from Helen and then more memories of the farm. So, I just checked here on the ol'Internet and my feelings were right. Something was happening to the family and so I find that Thelma had gone to be with Hap. I'm so sorry for the family's loss of such a loved mother, grandmother and . . . . aunt. The video tribute was just wonderful and thank those that made that happen.
God Bless you aunt Thelma.
