I'm pretty sure he worked with my Grandfather, James Conklin, in the oil patch down by Bush City back in the early 50's. I know that name sounds VERY familiar. My condolences to his family.

Roy, you were a family friend, and one of our dad (Kenny Hermreck's) best friends. He and you spent many hours in your shop by the wood stove solving problems and talking equipment. When one of you needed help, the other was always there. When dad got sick and couldn't go to your place, and instead had to have phone visits, he missed seeing you. Lots of memories of going to your place swimming and having picnics. From our family to yours, we send much Love, Peace & Comfort to the family as we cherish the memories of a good man.
