Memories flood my mind! I was proud to be her nephew! Going there on family vacations, she and mom staying up all night talking and Karen and I schooling everybody in Monopoly, and seeing her tend her gardens, she was her mothers daughter and could grow anything and lots of it. She could make a dead plant in our eyes come back to life and you would never know it was almost dead. She could cook and loved all of her homemade breads and cookies. I can't imagine the tons of vegetables she grew. I am sure She and Aunt Ruthie are having a party and telling a them that now that Aunt Ruthie has backup, the gardens up there are going to have to step it up. God bless you all! XOXO Kevin

Sorry to hear about the death of Mrs. Elmenhorst. I remember she and her girls coming to my household auctions and being very active bidders. Here is a prayer I pray every day for those who have died: Lord Jesus Christ, by your own three days in the tomb, you hallowed the graves of all who believe in you and so made the grave a sign of hope that promises resurrection even as it claims our mortal bodies. Grant that Edna Marie may sleep in peace until you awaken her to glory, for your are the resurrection and the life. Then she will see you face to face and in your light will see light and know the splendor of God, for you live and reign forever and ever. Amen.
