Mr Beaman was one of my favorite teachers at Dodge City Senior high in the mid 70's. I will always remember him for his love of life, great sense of humor and how he made a difference. Teachers ROCK and he was a shining example of what a good teacher does.

Yep, I remember Dave real well....he was a strange cat...and also a very good man. I remember his 6-speed trans-am that he was so happy about. He and I took a couple of trips in it down to New Mexico and Colorado. Once on a weekend, we drove it to Florence Alabama to watch our Pitt State Gorillas do a playoff game. We left on Friday after school; drove to Alabama and stayed 5 hours there. Then drove back in time for school on Monday. My condolences to Dave's family....he talked about you all a lot.

I remember him as a very fair man and a very good person. We talked a number of times back when I was in High School.
God bless his soul and spirit.

I so appreciated Mr. Beaman, who was one of my favorite teachers, even though I was no math whiz. May God comfort your family during this difficult time. Rest in Peace.

David Beaman was my favorite teacher. He had such a unique way of making math interesting, and inspiring each student in his class to do their best. I have enjoyed keeping in contact with him beyond high school for forty years. His insight, wit, and viewpoint on world issues was always thought-provoking and inspiring. David will be greatly missed. My deep sympathy belongs with his family.

To Heather, Monet and Daryl along with your families and relatives, please accept my condolences regarding your father's passing. I first had him for honors math in 7th grade at the DCJH, then summer geometry my freshman year, algebra I, algebra II and a slide rule and logarithm course. I am guessing that I took as many math courses under your father's tutelage as any of his former students. He and I got along great because we both enjoyed a good laugh. Be sure to remember the good times and be honored that David Beaman was your father. He was indeed a good man.
