I always considered it an honor to know Jerry. He worked so hard to help our high school students understand and appreciate the many freedoms we are blessed with. He was one of the main players in our government day activities that were held with the cooperation of the high school administration and teachers.
Jerry also served proudly on the committee that recognized the one year anniversary of 9ll. He helped planned a day of activities that included many different generations of our community.
I will always feel that I am a better person because of him. I know how much the veterans will miss him and his smile.
