Agnes, Ina and Robert, we know he is at peace now, with Ralph, and the rest of the family and Emerald friends. He's already telling jokes and stories, I just hear his laughter! When I first moved to Arkansas I went home for a holiday or something. Uncle Eddie was there. His first comment to me was.. "I see you are still wearing shoes!" Makes me laugh everytime I think of it.
Sorry to hear about the loss of your husband and dad. Mike and I have many memories of Eddie both together and then as growing up. Mike as a neighbor for his entire life and riding bikes with the kids and then myself as growing up friends with Ina and my #1 softball fan "Humpy".
When Ina lived out of state, she would come to my house in Lawrence for awhile, then her parents would pick her up there. I'll always remember one of those times when they were there to pick Ina up, I had music playing (had to have been either rock or blues) and Ed & Agnes started dancing together in my front room. What great partners, in dancing, life, and eternity!
Dear Agnes: I am so sorry to hear of Ed's passing. Many years ago I can remember him waving at us from your yard whenever we were on our way to visit Wayne and Velma. He always greeted us with a smile and a laugh at community get-togethers. Please know that you are in my thoughts and prayers during this time.
Agnes and Ina, I wanted to let you know that I enjoyed Ed so much on the Extension bus trips and through his many jokes and stories. I always looked forward to seeing him and seeing if I could get the best of him...but that wasn't gonna happen ever!I know you are greiving, my prayers are for you and your family.
