Dear Family, Aunt Jean will be greatly missed. Her love of life and her laughter were an inspiration to us all. What treasured memories of love and family she has shared over the years. Hold on to that love and let her light guide you during this time of sadness. We are thinking of you and missing yet another member of the "Greatest Generation".

My deepest sympathies to the Livingston family. Alice and I share your sorrow at the passing of this amazing lady. I never had the opportunity to meet Jean. But I know her son Doug, far too well, and her daughter Rachel. I know from them that she was truly blessed with a loving family. Mike Park

Aunt Jean will especially be missed! Her laughter, positive and fun attitude, and love for all of her family is an inspiration for all of us. Mom and Aunt Jean were so close and they shared stories of the fun and friendship, they had together. What strong, loving, and beautiful women!!! Oh my gosh--I can't even begin to list all the memories I have of being in Jean's house when Rachael and I were in High School, but one of my most favorite rememberances were the cheese sandwiches and milk that Rachael and I would snag from the fridge. That was the best cheese! She always made me feel like just one of the kids. RIP Mama Doc. I love you.

Dear Livingston Family,
Sonia and I extend our deepest sympathy upon the loss of your Mom, our Aunt Jean. She brought delight to all of those she touched each day. I was always struck by the joy and optimism in her outlook and personality. She had a special quality (shared by Aunt Marge, Bernice, and Christina) which I describe as subdued flambouyance. She always cared how she appeared, she exuded unwavering optimism, and held great pride in the Katzer family. She was always at the center of the limelight in social situations. That was not because she sought it out; it was simply because that is where she belonged. Her kindness and smile, wit, spiritual strength, and strong persona will be missed. All of us who knew her (and especially her immediate family) can take strength from our kinship and friendship with Aunt Jean. Our thoughts and prayers are with you and the family, Bill and Sonia Katzer

Gary, Jack, Jeannine, Rachael, Doug and spouses,
I was SO saddened to hear of Aunt Jean's passing. I will really miss my visits to her at Golden Heights. The last thing she told me was, "I'll be waiting to hear about your trip when you get back." Little did I know she was the one taking a trip.........now she is up playing cards and having a great time with Uncle Jack, her siblings and in-laws. She will certainly be missed by me and many, many others. My heart goes out to all of you.
Love, Marlyn

My sincere condolences to all the Livingston Family as you cling to the wonderful memories you've made with your mother, Aunt Jean. She was a beautiful spirit, a fun and loving person...always the life of the party and interesting to visit with. My sons remember her and Uncle Jack at a party at Scipio and were always amazed at their youthful exuberance and zest for live. She was a great example for each of you. My thoughts and my prayers go out to you at this sad time. With Love...Carma
