Renay Adams Jones posted a condolence
My Dear Aunt Toots, how many wonderful memories I have of her. As far back as I can remember, I remember Aunt Toots being there. Her working at the “Dinner Bell with that cute little apron. I remember going there once with another Aunt & Uncle and seeing “my Aunt Toots. I was so proud. She was so pretty and worked so hard. I can remember sitting on her lap all the time when I was little. Stubbing my barefoot toes at least once a visit on her stone sidewalk or steps in the summer. I can still hear her wood gate or back door slam. Running up and down their cellar door. Sitting on her cute front porch and admiring the yard. The Easter Sunday she babysit my sisters and I and we got to spend the whole day there. As fun as it was to use the outhouse during the day I would beg to go home after dark because I didn’t want use it then. Her BIG and Beautiful garden. She could grow anything and did until she just couldn’t do it anymore. Her and Uncle Lloyd coming out to play pitch with Mother and Daddy and hearing the stories of Mother and her passing cards under the table with their bare feet. Her wonderful dinner rolls and pies. When I got older and made dinner rolls and pies, she told me I took after her. That was a very special compliment. All the Adams Family Reunions gave me even more wonderful memories with her. I didn’t know Aunt Toots could be any happier and love anybody more then she loved all of us until her granddaughter Ronda was born. I can still see her being so proud of her and loving her so much. She was always such a sweet happy Aunt. She always had such a sweet smile that told me she loved me. She will be missed so much because she was loved so much. We were so blessed to have her as an Aunt. Lee & Renay

I was sorry to her of Loreda's death. I learned so much from her. I worked with her for a short time at the City Cafe in Garnett in the old Hotel. She gave me some of her very special secrets in cooking. She was always such a hard worker. Heaven is blessed to have her among the angels.

I am sure the two of you are gonna have a blast in heaven. Lots of love to Jacob, Brooke and Nicole at this sad time. Now you have three very special angels watching over you.

My great grandma was a very special lady I remember all the times when i was young when she would come over to the house to watch us kids. of course we would always give her trouble being only little then i remember many times begging her not to tell momma and daddy the trouble i had gotten into. one of my most fond memories is the time she was down in elsmore with us i had lit a kerosene lamp and seeing that it wasnt putting off much light i had the idea to pour the kerosene into a bowl and light it well long story short great grandma helped me put out the fire when the house had caught on fire by the "cat". O how i wish i would have listened closer when she told me about the olden days and all her many adventures. i love my great grandma and i will miss her soooo much she was the world to me i could go to her and cry and always expect that someone would be there to listen!!! You will be missed by all. I LOVE YOU GREAT GRANDMA!!!!!!
