I remember Miss Marsh's encouragement that although it was a lot to memorize, the song was important for us to learn and it would help us when we went on to the bigger demanding world of junior high....30+ years later I still think of Miss Marsh fondly whenever I need to recall one of the "The Fifty Nifty United States." Miss Marsh's kind enthusiasm and talent created a tremendous legacy. Sending my sympathy to her family and friends, Stacey Walsh (Jefferson Elementary 1975-78)
