Melvin Lavern "Bud" Maley, 73, of Iola, Kansas, died Monday, June 21, 2010, at Windsor Place Nursing Center in Iola. Bud was born December 9, 1936, on the family farm three miles south of Gas City the son of Glenn C. and Florence A. (Crowell) Maley. He made his home with his parents and helped with the farm. After their deaths, he resided at the Townhouse until his health failed. Survivors: 2 Brothers: Jim Maley and Jason Maley both of Iola, KS 1 Sister: Winona English of Iola, KS A number of nieces and nephews He was preceded in death by two sisters, Dorothy Suffal Fulton and Linda Hulett GRAVESIDE SERVICE: 9:30 a.m., Thursday, June 24, 2010 at Highland Cemetery in Iola.
