Obituary of Lucille Lang
Lucille M. Lang, 76, of Iola, Kansas, died Friday, May 14, 2010, at her home.
Lucille was born August 12, 1933 at Athens, Kansas in Woodson County, the daughter of Albert Douglas and Alice Maude (Ransom) Caler. She grew up in the Iola area and graduated from Iola High School in 1951 and went to work at the Federal Reserve Bank in Kansas City.
On April 24, 1953, Lucille married Robert F. "Bob" Lang in Kansas City, Missouri. They made their home in Kansas City until moving to Iola in 1960. Lucille worked at Iola State Bank and retired in 1996 from the Piqua State Bank. She did bookkeeping for the family businesses, Lang Motor Company and later for Lanco Distributor.
She enjoyed collecting phonographs and music boxes.

She was preceded in death by a sister, Nadine Hoag and three brothers, Dewey, Dale and Wayne Caler.
VISITATION: 6:00-8:00 p.m., Monday, May 17, 2010, at the Waugh-Yokum & Friskel Chapel in Iola.
FUNERAL SERVICE: 10:00 a.m., Tuesday, May 18, 2010, at the Waugh-Yokum & Friskel Chapel in Iola. The Chaplain Lloyd W. Houk will officiate.
BURIAL: Highland Cemetery, Iola, KS
MEMORIAL CHOICES: Allen County Healthcare Foundation (Hospice) or Allen County Animal Rescue Facility (ACARF)
