Obituary of Wanda Grizzle
Wanda Lee Grizzle, 79, of Chanute, Kansas, died Monday, November 29, 2010, at the Neosho Memorial Regional Medical Center in Chanute.
Wanda was born March 19, 1931, on a farm just southwest of Iola, Kansas, the daughter of Thomas Henry and Jessie Althea (McMulin) Larkey. The family moved to a farm northeast of LaHarpe, Kansas, and she graduated from LaHarpe High School.
On November 13, 1949, Wanda married Virgil L. Grizzle and they made their home near Odense, Kansas. In 1964 they moved to Wichita and in 1969 they made their home in Chanute. She was a licensed beautician and operated Wanda's Beauty Shop until retiring.
She was a member of the First Baptist Church in Chanute, Kansas.

She was preceded in death by her parents.
VISITATION: 6:00-8:00 p.m., Friday, Dec. 3, 2010, at the Waugh-Yokum & Friskel Chapel in Iola, Kansas
FUNERAL SERVICE: 1:00 p.m., Saturday, Dec. 4, 2010, at the Waugh-Yokum & Friskel Chapel in Iola. The Chaplain Lloyd W. Houk will officiate.
BURIAL: LaHarpe Cemetery, LaHarpe, Kansas
MEMORIAL: First Baptist Church of Chanute, Kansas
